RAISE Network Special Interest Groups Special Issue
The two SIGs formed a Collaborative Writing project in late 2022 to provide colleagues, either as Early Careers Researchers in higher education or those new in student engagement from the RAISE community, an opportunity to work and publish student engagement-related topics. The project supports the development of this group of colleagues to demystify publication, increasing the confidence of learning how to come up with an idea (i.e., perhaps something they have been working on as part of their role daily) to write an article for publication in line with this journal’s developmental route. Those colleagues who are part of our project are welcome to submit an article under the themes below. In addition, we would like to open up our call for papers to colleagues from the wider RAISE community who are either early career researchers or colleagues who are new to student engagement in higher education.
We are looking for submissions on the following:
- Under-representation (includes Widening Participation, Marginalised students, and Disadvantaged students)
- Digital/online engagement (includes Digital co-creation, Online rapport)
- Community (includes Communities of practice, Learning Communities, Online communities, and Connected curriculum)
- Co-creation (includes Students as producers, Staff-student partnership)
- Mentorship (includes buddying and peer support) Employability (includes
- Professional Development, Placements, Business partnerships)
